The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) now requires businesses to formally nominate their registered tax agent before we can access your records.
Without this step, we cannot lodge your BAS, prepare your income tax return, or communicate with the ATO on your behalf.
If you’re engaging LINK Advisors (LINK Advisors Pty Ltd, tax Agent Number 25504639), this is the first step in getting your compliance sorted properly.
Why this matters
The client-to-agent linking system was introduced to strengthen security and prevent unauthorised access to taxpayer accounts.
Until you complete the nomination:

We cannot access your ATO account

We cannot review your lodgement history

We cannot act on your behalf

Your compliance work may be delayed
Completing this promptly ensures your tax and BAS obligations stay on track.
How the nomination works
You complete the nomination through Online Services for Business.
Once submitted, we have 28 days to accept it.
If it expires, the process must be started again.
